Tower Crane Fixed Feet/XCMG tower crane legs
A tower crane consists of three main parts: the base, the mast or tower, and the slewing device. The base is bolted to a large concrete foundation that supports the crane and is connected to the mast to provide a certain height for the crane. The slewing unit consists of gears and motors that are mounted on top of the mast, allowing the crane to rotate along its axis. In addition, tower cranes require the use of fixed angles to connect the tower to the concrete foundation.
The type of fixed angle is usually determined by the size of the tower crane mast section, such as 1.2m S24 mast section, 1.6m L46A1 mast section, 2.0m L68B2 mast section, etc. The fixed angle is usually used to connect the tower to the concrete foundation.
As the concrete foundations need to be prepared in advance, the fixing angles and formwork can be supplied before the crane is delivered.
Below are details of the 1.6-meter fixed angle (L46A1):
Pin size: 50 mm.
Base plate size: 600mm*600mm.
The unit weight is 245kg.
